Do you off a session for pre-wedding pictures to be taken?

Yes! A pre-wedding session is provided as complimentary to all packages booked. This is a photographic session arranged at some point after booking your wedding photography with us. This takes place at the studio. It is a great opportunity for us to get to know one another better, to have some great pictures taken, and for you to experience just how relaxed, and how much fun our photography is. We find that once a couple have been for their pre-wedding session, even those who are the most nervous of cameras relax, and start getting really excited about their wedding photography after they see the results. The pictures will be shown to you and you will have opportunity to purchase them in frames or made up as a canvas. A framed signature portrait is very popular.

Will it just be our wedding you photograph during the day?

Yes. We realise we have a great responsibility in capturing the memories of your special day. We will dedicate ourselves exclusively to your wedding so that we can give you both the best attention possible.

How many photographs will you take?

There is not any limit to the number of photographs taken on the day, at most weddings we will take around 600-1000 pictures.

How will you show us our wedding pictures?

An appointment is made for you to view your wedding photos after your honeymoon. This is by means of a slide show to music and is a very enjoyable experience that will bring back to your mind the day in a powerful way. The presentation will contain around 400-450 pictures and there will be plenty of time to choose your pictures for the album, we ask that you allow between 3-4 hours for this. 

What is the number of photographs we can have in our album?

You can have any number of pictures in your album, and you do not have to keep to the number you booked in your package, but can purchase more pictures at your viewing. Please ask us about the cost of extra pictures in the album. Prices include extra album pages, design, retouching and of course printing. The albums can accomodate 350 pictures and more can be added into a second album should you require this. we are happy to provide discounts when you order over 180 pictures for the album and additionally a free slide show of all pictures ordered. Most couples choose around 180-250 pictures for their album with the average order being around the number of 250 in an album. If you want to tell the whole story of your wedding, you would need at least 120 pictures in the album.

Is there a set number of hours that you stay for on the day?

This is flexible and will vary with the package you book.Photography usually starts with the groom getting ready, following on to the bride getting ready, and also the events of the rest of the day. You will probably wish to have the cakecutting, speeches, presentations, and dancing photographed. Special events likefireworks, or chinesse laterns always make spectacular shots for the album. The first  dance, and will be on hand therefore to photograph the speeches etc. If this is the case, the couple need to include us in guest numbers, as by the time the wedding breakfast commences, we would be in need of a good hot meal. It is also advantageous as we are then on hand to photograph the speeches and presentations as they happen, as well as other events that occur. We ask that you have your first dance by 8.30pm and we usually leave shortly after this.

It must be a very long day for you, what are your needs regarding food and drinks?

We will need some refreshment whilst with you for the day. Most couples arrange for us to have drinks and a hot meal .

Can we be confident about quality?

Quality is our watchword. Reccomendations came through happy clients and cleints are only happy if they have recieved a high quality product, it is therefore of uptmost important to both of us to provide you with the highest quality product, using materials of the highest quality. Printing is assesed individually and our albums are superb, providing clients the excellent service they deserve.

How much time does it take to complete our order?

Our albums are of the highest quality, and each one is unique to each client. Once you have made your order, your album will be designed and then ordered. We have our own in-house designers which gives our albums that extra special edge. The completed album will be ready approximately two to eight weeks after the design is dispatched to the album supplier, depending on album company, with our quickest supplier delivering within two weeks of order. Some times of the year are more busy for the album companies, for instance in the run up to the christmas break. Often album companies shut down over the holiday period for up to four weeks, this would naturally delay the album delivery.

Can we request what pictures you will take?

Our service is bespoke. You will be provided with list of possible shots and you will be able to request which shots you would like taken, and detail the groups shots you would like. We will then be able to plan the photography for your special day.We will also take candid shots throughout the day as well as your requested photographs. Please note we do not guarentee all requests, as some shots may not be possible due to factors which may be beyond our control. Such factors could include things like venue restrictions, but we will try our best to get the shots you would like.

Will friends and guests be able to order prints?

Once you have selected your prints for your album, a selection of pictures are uploaded to our client pages on the website. Your family or friends will be able to order their selection online. You will be given a web address when your pictures will be hosted. It is also possible to use an alternative method, to order your prints. We can provide with a sheet with small thumbnails of the pictures selected for the album and used with the album to assist identification, it means the grandparents of those who do not have internet access will be able to make an order.

How long will the group shots take?

Most of your pictures will be taken as events unfold during the day. The group shots will need to be organised and we aim to spend only 20 minutes on the group shots. Once the groups are completed, we move on to the couple shots. After the groups we spend about 15 minutes with the couple away from their guests, we find this yields the best results, and the couple really enjoy their time together.

Will there be time to chat with our guests?

Yes, it's totally up to you how you arrange your day, we work around your arrangements. We can take the group shots whenever you would like us to and only take those shots that you would like us to. We always allow 10-15 minutes after the ceremony for couples to greet and chat to their guests, your guests will want to congatulate you both.After this we can start the group shots at the church or they can be done at the reception venue. Couples also like having time to chat at the reception venue before the wedding breakfast commences. Most venues allow at least one and a half hours for you to have your pictures taken and to socialise with your guests and often two hours which will make your day very relaxed.

How do we get our album when it is finished?

Once your album is ready we will notify you. If you would like to collect your album, we will arrange a suitable time to do this, alternatively we can send your album by courier, this costs an additional £20

Are Prints in frames available to order?

Of course and we have a large selection of frames. Often a couple will order several pictures to be mounted into one frame. This provides stunning results, and can tell the story of your wedding day in a fantastic way in the room of your choice. Frame prices start from £125 for a large 10 inch single print. It is also possible to have a framed print of a montage of your couple shots, similar to those in the albums for mounting on your wall.

Are parent albums available to order?

Yes, parent albums are available. The price of these starts at £349 for smaller copies of the main album with discount for orders of more than one, or alternatively parents can order a different product. Please ask us for a quote for your requirements.

We would like to book you to photograph our day, will it be you that photographs us on our wedding day?

We do not do consultations for other photographers, therefore if you book one of us, it will be one of us that photographs your big day. We feel that this is very important as it enables us to get to know our clients and we are therefore not strangers to them on the wedding day, enabling them to have confidence and to relax.

How can we pay?

You will be able to make payment for your wedding photography by means of cheque/cash or visa-debit, or maestro. In addition any additional orders and guest orders can be paid for by all major debit and credit cards.

How do we book you to photograph our wedding?

A booking fee of £250 is needed to secure the booking. This can be done by post or over the telephone. Please read the terms and conditions on the booking form, and fill in with as much detail as possible, but do not worry if some information is not yet available, we will check this later. Post the booking form off with you booking fee. Do not worry if you are not sure which package you would like at the time of booking, you can decide this and let us know within a month which package you would like.The  booking fee is credited to the package you decide on.
